FAQ

  • What is your policy for returns?

    I do not accept returns.

However, if something does not arrive as expected, please let me know and I’ll do what I can to make it right.

  • Which tools do you work with?

    Watercolor paints:
Schmincke is professional grade, and their supergranulating colors are among of my favorites.

Daniel Smith is also a fantastic choice.

Winsor Newton has my favorite field kit - great for travel and everything else. (I recommend avoiding the student grade “Cotman” series.)

This Sennelier kit is what I currently use when traveling. It’s bigger with lots of room to grow and make your own pans with these.

Ink pens : Sakura Pigma Microns are my bread and butter.

Watercolor paper: Arches cold press watercolor blocks is my standard. If you’re looking to only do linework or just prefer a smoother painting surface, try hot press

    Sketchbook: Etchr Hardcover

  • Do you ship internationally?

Yes. Please select the International Shipping option at checkout.

If your country is currently not supported under the shipping options, you’re welcome to make a request here.

  • Am I able to sponsor / commission a piece?

I am currently open to private and corporate collaborations; typical lead time is six (6) months.

    Please inquire here.

  • Do you offer framing?

Yes; professional archival framing is offered for all original paintings.

    Please inquire here.

This would include UV/Museum glass so that your piece would be protected from exposure to sunlight, which is critical to ensuring the longevity of watercolor pieces.

  • How do I care for my original painting?

You can best care for your latest acquisition by entrusting it to professional craftspeople at a specialized frame shop.

I am happy to now offer this service and personally oversee the process - you would receive a full-protected and framed piece ready to be installed in your home.

    Please inquire here.

Should you opt to have your painting delivered without framing, I still strongly recommend consulting with a professional frame shop. They are experts that will ensure your piece is protected and up the highest archival standards.

They would also be able to assist with aesthetic choices to ensure your latest acqusition is in harmony with your home.

Please keep all original artwork out of direct sunlight.

  • A piece I like has already been sold. Can I order a reproduction?

Yes. If you see a piece in the shop or archive, I can create a fine art giclee reproduction print for you in (almost) any size.

Please allow extra time to process a custom order. Contact me here to begin the process.

  • What are the details of the prints?

You can expect to receive a professional-grade Fine Art Giclée print on premium watercolor paper that either meets or exceeds the standards set forth by the Fine Art Trade Guild for pH and lightfastness.

They are of an exceptional quality, and as true to the original paintings as possible.

  • Who owns the artwork?

Check out the legal section here for answers to this and more.

Some private collectors choose to purchase an exclusive license to ensure it will never be reproduced. I’ve also offered non-exclusive licenses to musicians for use as album imagery.
